Standard Green Tea Processing Factory
In order to produce high-quality tea products with excellent taste that meet export standards, our company operates a 2.6-hectare processing facility equipped with a modern, synchronized machinery system. With two dedicated processing areas for export and domestic markets, our annual production capacity exceeds 3,000 tons.
Standard Green Tea Production Process
Step 1: Harvesting
Firstly, fresh tea leaves and buds are carefully selected and quickly harvested by skilled farmers in the early morning, then promptly transported to the factory for immediate processing to preserve freshness.
Step 2: Withering
Next, the leaves are lightly withered in clean trays to slightly reduce moisture, making them softer and more pliable for the following steps.
Step 3: Kill-Green
The withered leaves are then quickly stir-fried or pan-fired at high temperatures to deactivate enzymes and prevent fermentation, thereby retaining their green color and fresh flavor.
Step 4: Rolling
After fixation, the leaves are gently rolled to break the cell walls and begin shaping the tea, helping to release natural juices that enhance aroma and taste.
Step 5: Shaping
The dried leaves are curled or twisted using a shaping machine to achieve their characteristic appearance, depending on the tea grade and market preferences.
Step 6: Drying
A two-stage drying process is applied, including pre-drying and final drying, to reduce the moisture content to the required level (typically 3–5%), ensuring long-term preservation.
Step 7: Sorting
Finally, the tea is sorted through a four-layer vibrating screen and airflow separation system to classify the product by size, weight, and quality. This step ensures uniformity and meets export standards.
